Call For Paper

Aim and Scope

  • The conference offers an opportunity for scholars and practitioners interested in the issues related to economics, business, and management to share their thinking and research findings. This conference provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest issues among those topic areas. It also provides field for discussion, collaboration and opportunity seeking for all those interested in any of these fields of research and practice among researchers, practitioners, government, business, and communities.
  • The conference committee welcomes contributions on a wide range of topics using a range of scholarly approaches including theoretical and empirical papers employing qualitative, quantitative and critical methods. Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the authors, will be published in the Proceedings of ICEB. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Both full research reports and work-in-progress reports are welcome.

Conference Streams

The theme of this 2nd International Conference that we would like to propose is "Human Capital, Knowledge Management and Learning Organization for Business Sustainability".

Each of these topic areas is described below and the list is not exhaustive. Abstracts may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. Unlisted but related sub-topics are also acceptable, provided they fit in one of the following main topic areas:

  1. Human Capital Management;

    Strategic Human Capital, Leadership, People in Organization; Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility, Compensation and Benefit Management; Human Capital Measurement; Talent Management, Personnel Recruitment & Selection; Employee Retention, Intellectual Capital, Training and Development, Human Resources Information System; Global HR; Competencies; HR Policies, Labor Management Relation / Industrial Relation, Corporate Culture & Values; Cross Cultural Management, Human Diversity & Inclusion;

  2. Knowledge Management;

    Information Technology Background in Knowledge Management, Social Innovation, Competitive Intelligent, Information Security, Knowledge Sharing, Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Retention, KM-System, Social Media and Social Network.

  3. Learning Organization;

    Workplace Learning, Organization Development, Organizational Theory, Organizational Dynamics, Organizational Conflict & Negotiation, Change Management, Power and Politics.

Paper Submission

Authors should submit an original paper in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, using the on-line submission procedure and authors kit. The initial submission must have maximum 250 words for abstract. Papers that are out of the conference scope or contain any form of plagiarism will be rejected without reviews.

Remarks about Abstract Submission

  • All submission must be entirely original and must not be under concurrent consideration of scheduled for presentation elsewhere
  • Full papers are written in English
  • Full papers would be reviewed by double-blind peer review
  • Full papers must be typed, single spaced using 12pt Times New Roman font in Word Format; maximum 8 pages including the references and appendices
  • Full papers must be submitted online through EasyChair or by e-mailing to


All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. The ten selected papers will be offered to be published in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Journal (Indexed by Scopus), the ten selected papers will be offered to be published in Asian Journal of Technology Management (AJTM) SBM-ITB (Indexed by Copernicus) and Jurnal Teknologi-UTM.
