Haryo Suryosumarto

Short Biography

Haryo combined over 14 years of professional experience in law practice, business development, general management and applied psychology to start his own independent recruitment consulting service in May 2009. After successfully managed to close numerous important executive search assignments as a solo recruiter, Haryo decided to incorporate his consulting work and it was the time when PT Headhunter Indonesia officially established on May 2010.

Haryo's expertise is in top level executive search, advising clients on the strategic talent acquisition strategy and manpower administration best practices in Indonesia. He has worked as the consultant for Fortune 500 companies, international NGOs / non-profit organizations, start-ups, foreign investors, public listed companies in various countries and he also has a significant number of local companies throughout Indonesia on his massive clients portfolio.

Among the research collaborations that have been established by K-Economy Research Alliance, UTM in 2013-2014 are as follows: Wroclaw University of Technology Poland, United Nations Institute of Global Health, University Brunei Darussalam, Malaysian Productivity Council (MPC), Curtain University Australia.

His other passion is knowledge sharing, since Haryo is regularly invited to speak at various career related workshop in universities and corporate environments. Many of his articles and expert opinions have been published and quoted by various leading national media, such as: Fortune Indonesia, Bloomberg Businessweek, Koran Tempo, Forum Manajemen Prasetiya Mulya, Harian Seputar Indonesia, Cita Cinta Magazine, GoGirl Magazine,, Media Indonesia, Human Capital Magazine, Trijaya FM Jakarta (now Sindo Trijaya Radio), and many others.

Haryo shares his expert views on various career topic for almost every week on Monday on the "Good Morning Hard Rockers Show" at Hard Rock Radio Bali. He also wrote over 85 easy to read career articles on his personal blog --
